President Donald Trump said some neat acts about Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras during a joint news conference on Tuesday — right before he learned Tsipras had once announced Trump’s plans “evil.”
“I wish I knew that before my lecture, ” Trump joked, as everyone watching( I’m just assuming) let loose little moans or append their lips in tight smiles that said, “ha ha, yes, “were all” laughing.”
Here’s the moment 😛 TAGEND
Tsipras responded to the question by saying he hadn’t experienced “threatened” during his meetings with the president. Which I approximated is good. Sure. I mean that’s the baseline now, right? As long as the president of the most powerful nation in the world doesn’t hint at your liquidation during a bilateral confront, you can consider it a win.
Anyway, before “theres going”, I precisely want to ask one — or a few — more interrogations: How little experiment does the White House do for these meetings? Did no one do three minutes of googling ahead? Did his aides time not want to tell Trump that the man he was about to meet saw his ideas represented “evil? ” Do White House aides think it’s a smart idea to deter that various kinds of event from this president and just let him wing his reply?
These are today’s unanswerable interrogations, apparently.
